We are a fee-only Registered Investment Adviser providing Investment Management, Financial Planning, Portfolio Reviews and proprietary Limited Partnership opportunities. As a fee-only advisor, we provide services void of the traditional conflicts inherent in the financial services industry. The firm’s Principal is Greg Mattlage. Greg began his career in the financial services industry in the mid-1990s. He founded Catamount Capital Partners in order to have greater flexibility and objectivity in managing our client’s assets.

Greg Mattlage’s Bio
Greg is proud to say that he was raised by native Texans in Steamboat,
Colorado, home to more Winter Olympians that any ski-town in the United
States. As you might expect, he is an avid outdoorsman and pursues
interests in skiing, fly fishing, road cycling, mountain biking, backpacking and golf. His latest outdoor pursuits involve triathlons and competitive cycling.

Greg earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from
Baylor University in Waco, TX and his Master’s degree from Washington
University in St. Louis, MO.

Greg has 14 years combined experience in the financial services industry in various capacities. He has dedicated the last 10 years to managing investments for private clients. Prior to co-founding Catamount Capital, LLC and Catamount Capital Partners, he served  respectively as Assistant Vice President of Investments for Citigroup Smith Barney and as Vice President of Investments for UBS Financial Services.

Greg spends his professional energy managing traditional investment portfolios and proprietary limited partnerships that invest in real estate, oil/gas, and private equity. These partnerships generally fall outside the scope of services provided under Catamount Capital’s  SEC Registration. However, these investments are, from time to time, made available to Catamount clients and outside investors who are “Accredited and/or Qualified.”
